Wayfinder Off-Boarding

This page contains important information and instructions to help guide you through the offboarding process. Please review the steps carefully to ensure a smooth transition.

1. Shopify

How to Uninstall the "Wayfinder" App from Shopify

  1. Log in to Your Shopify Admin Account

    • Visit your Shopify admin panel and log in with your credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Apps Section

    • In the left-hand menu, click on "Apps" and then “Apps and sales channels settings” to view all installed apps in your store.

  3. Locate the “Wayfinder” or "Ellis" App

    • Click on “Develop App” to find the “Wayfinderapp.

  4. Uninstall the App

    • Click on the “Wayfinder” app and then click on the "Uninstall app" button next to the app name.

  5. Review and Confirm

    • Shopify may prompt you to confirm the app removal. Confirm your action and complete the uninstallation.

 

2. Google Analytics 4 

How to Disconnect Google Analytics 4 from BigQuery and Remove Access

  1. Log in to your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property.

  2. Navigate to BigQuery Links:

    • In the left-hand menu, go to Admin, then select BigQuery Links under Product Links.

  3. Remove the Connection:

    • Click on the connected BigQuery project.

    • In the opened window, click the three dots in the top-right corner and select "Delete" to remove the connection.

    • This step is critical: If the BigQuery import is not removed, the connection will remain active, and we will continue receiving your data even if you revoke access to GA4.

  4. Remove Access Rights:

    • After removing the BigQuery connection, you can also revoke our access to your GA4 account for added security.

 

3. Google Ads 

How to Remove Access in Google Ads

  1. Log in to your Google Ads account.

  2. Navigate to "Admin":

    • In the left-hand panel, click on "Admin".

    • Then, select "Access and Security" from the options.

  3. Remove Access:

    • Find the email address for which you want to remove access.

    • Select the desired email and revoke access.

 

4. Meta Ads (Facebook Ads)

How to Remove Access in Meta Ads (Facebook Ads Manager)

  1. Log in to Meta Business Suite

    • Visit Meta Business Suite and log in with your credentials.

  2. Go to Business Settings

    • In the left-hand menu, click on "Business Settings" under the Settings section.

  3. Navigate to Users

    • In Business Settings, select "People" under the Users section in the left-hand panel.

  4. Find the User You Want to Remove

    • Scroll through the list to locate the person whose access you want to remove.

  5. Confirm the Removal

    • Confirm the changes. The user will no longer have access to your Meta Ads account or connected assets.

 

5. Revoke API Access

 If any API tokens were generated for custom reporting or other integrations, please ensure you revoke them.
