1. AI-generated insights in dashboards
Wayfinder now automatically generates AI-powered narrative insights in several dashboards. These summaries help you quickly understand trends, spikes, or changes without needing to interpret charts or numbers manually.
You’ll find AI-generated insights in the following dashboards:
- Sales Overview
- Discounts
- Returns
- Product Performance
- Web Traffic
- Marketing Overview
- Marketing Channels
- RFM Analysis
These insights are designed to save time, highlight what matters, and make your dashboards easier to interpret for business users.
2. Wayfinder AI chatbot (conversational agent)
Wayfinder also features a conversational agent powered by generative AI that allows you to:
- Ask about dashboards and where to find specific metrics
- Understand how metrics like total sales or net sales are calculated
- Learn what features are available in Wayfinder and how to use them
- Get answers to content available on the Wayfinder website
- Ask questions about your data

You can also use the agent to ask questions about two connected datasets:
Sales & Customer Performance
(daily_aggregates)
Includes metrics such as:
- Orders, gross/net/total sales
- Product quantity and returned product quantity metrics
- Product discounts, product refunds, and product net costs metrics
- New customers, tax-free shipping costs
Advertising Performance
(ad_reporting__marketing_daily_aggregates)
Includes:
- Clicks, impressions, and spend
- Conversions and conversion value
- Aggregated by date, store name and platform
Note: The chatbot works best with clear and specific questions. For example:
- ✅ “How much did we spend on Meta in March 2024?”
- ❌ “What's going on with my marketing?”
How we protect your data?
- EU-based processing: All AI interactions are handled entirely within the European Union
- No data used for model training: Your data is never used to improve or train AI models

Scoped data access: The chatbot only accesses two pre-approved datasets mentioned above
Is AI always 100% accurate?
AI is a powerful assistant, but not always perfect. For important or sensitive questions, we recommend confirming results directly through dashboards or with the support team.
